I mean historical figures who add to the complexity, like Ronald Knox (priest and mystery writer), Sebastien Michaelis the inquisitor, Sebastian Michaelis the tea sommelier (still alive), a Sutcliff (still alive last I heard) who is said to be like a copy-cat of Jack the Ripper, and so on.Ī boy going on a quest of knowledge/revenge, particularly set as a coming-of-age story. And I’m not just talking about stuff to place it in a particular time in history, like having Queen Victoria, John Brown, and Charles Grey. Yana-san breaks all ten of them with some serious GUSTO! Particularly if there is any suggestion that the “butler did it”….Įven the earl and Arthur say it’s cliche to have a locked room scenario, but they find themselves with one.
